1.     How do you think your team will do in this year’s Calcutta?  We have an even chance of winning

2.     Who do you think will win it all?  Anybody but Donnelly

3.     Predict one team that will get knocked out in the first round?  Mike Donnelly and whomever was unfortunate enough to get him as a partner

4.     What is your favourite vacation destination and why do you like it so much?  Kabul, Afghanastin always exciting

5.     Who is your favourite and least favourite hockey team and why? Brighton Tigers - seriously they are a team - right up to date just like Gerald (at least we learned something)

The Brighton Tigers were an English ice hockey club based in Brighton. The team existed from 1935 until 1965 and were one of the United Kingdom's most successful sides during that period. The club were based at the Brighton Sports Stadium (often known by its original name of SS Brighton) on West Street.
The Tigers were members of the English National League and later the British National League, the club were one of the country's best supported teams with 4,000 spectators regularly attending matches which were held on a Thursday night.
The Tigers' most famous victory was over the Soviet Union in December 1957, winning 6–3.
The club in the first British Championship since 1930 when they defeated the Nottingham Panthers in overtime in 1960.
After the collapse of the professional league in 1960, the Tigers continued to participate in the inter-rink tournaments that were established in the league's place until 1965 when the Brighton Sports Stadium was closed down and demolished by the local council.
6.     If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you want to play the lead role?  Joe Pesci - I've always wanted to get rid of this English accent and Joe does a great New York Uncle Vinny accent.

     Margaret Thatcher so I could commit suicide and rid the world of her

       Gerald and I will drink a lot of beer (good start on the questions Gord)

Cass and Van Wely won’t win a game. Wait, are they even in it? (ok that's a weak one)

4.     What is our favourite vacation destination and why do you like it so much?
I like the desert because there’s no humidity (not bad)

5.     Who is your favourite and least favourite hockey team and why?
      I have been a lifelong Bruins fan and therefore hate the Habs. (Gord will be a Leaf fan in late June this year after the Leaf's win the cup)

6.     If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you want to play the lead role?
Bill Murray (great answer Gord you'll have to do your Caddy Shack impersanation at the Calcutta)

Bill Murray (who wouldn't want to play Pebble Beach every year)

10.  If you could be a super hero what would you want your powers to be?
Northstar (Jean-Paul Beaubier) is a fictional character, a superhero who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is the twin brother of Aurora. Through his mutation, Northstar gains superhuman powers, which he uses for the betterment of society. Although originally a member of Alpha Flight, a fictional team of Canadian superhumans, Northstar is later portrayed as a member of the X-Men. He is one of the first openly gay superheroes in American comic books. (I can't make this stuff up!)

I am Gary Long’s illegitimate half-brother. (there had to be some explanation on how they won last year)

Nobody gives more looks than Rekrut

  1. Just to be clear about Question #10: Morty researched and entered the entire text for this question. My original answer was: My superhero would have hands as good as Donnelly, the beer drinking capacity of Nate, the speed of Ray Coates, the wit of Charuk, the disposition of Brock and the bank account of Al Scott. I'd be called "Calcutta Man" and I'd strike fear into the hearts of Cedar members everywhere!
