MIke Donnelly and Brent Hurtubise

Smooth as milk Mike Donnelly

Brent please stay the frick out of the way Hurtubise

Mike Donnelly profile
How do you think your team will do in the Calcutta?
I don’t expect our team to contend at all!  I am not sure if we will get a point let alone a game in our match against Sully and Nate. The combination of Sully’s superior court movement and Nate’s exceptional tournament record over his illustrious squash career, it’s hard to image any team in this tournament to compete against Sully and Nate. I also have a lower body injury which the specialist have said won’t heal until after the finals. So, if I was a betting man, I would put all my money on Sully and Nate! (Editor's Note – I'm not buying this BS – Mike was overheard telling his partner Brent to just stay out of the way and he'll make all the shots.)

When and where did you start playing squash? I started playing squash in ’77 at BRC on the old hardball courts.

What's your favourite drink?  Cold, fresh milk.

If you could see one group/musician in concert, who would it be?  I am not a big music fan....I am more of a Karaoke person.

Boxers or briefs? Who really cares

Favourite sport?  Hockey

Favourite golf hole?  Not much of a golfer....so in truth....don’t have a favourite hole unless it involves drinking

Where did you grow up?  Burlington

University/College/Neither

Other than your wife, if you could have dinner with any female celebrity, who would you chose and why?  Since I am happily married.....I don’t think there are too many female celebrities I would learn something from or need something from..... So – NA (Editor's note - I had to do a lot of research before I could find out more information about this mysterious NA person.  Here's the link - http://www.gokpop.com/celebrity/gna/  Personally I think this is the type of celeb that Brent would prefer - given his initial choice of Lucy Liu - but I'll include her in your profile, with a link so the lads can be envious)

Brent Hurtubise profile
Sully sucked at the interview so here are my revised answers.

How do you think your team will do in the Calcutta?   Top 8.  Look out for Good Ray and whomever his partner is.

What's your favourite drink?  Beer (Editor's note - I can attest to that - Brent bought 3 jugs at the Fall House League wind up - good man here!)

What's your favourite golf hole?  14th hole at Wolf Creek in Mesquite, Nevada http://www.golfwolfcreek.com/sites/courses/layout9.asp?id=863&page=48770
(Editor's note - while in Mesquite make sure you check out Lees Discount Liqours in Mesquite)

What's your favourite sport?  Baseball (Editor's note - time to try slo pitch Brent)

Other than your wife, if you could have dinner with any female celebrity, who would you chose and why?  Originally Brent wanted Lucy Lui as he is interested in exploring that Asian culture (who isn't).  He;s since rethought his position and wants to dine with Charlize Theron.  (Ted you've got some business coming your way after all.)

Who would you like to see in concert?   Led Zeppelin.  Oh Yeah!

Gord Dowbiggin and Gary Long

Gary Long

Gary Long Profile

What's your favourite sport?  Baseball.  (Editor's note - Gary is a pretty good ball player - just ask him!)

How will your team do Gary?  We'll be top 8 but watch out for Nick and Greg.

What's your favourite drink?  Bottled beer and draft beer

Boxers or briefs?  Briefs

Where and when did you start playing squash?  Premier Fitness in Oakville in 87

What do you think of guys who say you need to take more lets?  Clearly they don't understand the game.  (Editor's note - good luck Gary.  I really mean that by the way.)

Gordo Dowbiggin

Gord Dowbiggin Profile
How do you think your team will do in the Calcutta?
If Gary lets me shoot we shoot do ok.

When and where did you start playing squash?
I started playing in university and it has been downhill since.  Unfortunately golf skills don't translate into squash skills (editor's note - you are a good golfer Gord!)

What's your favourite drink?  1980 Grange Hermitage which is impossible to find so that explains why I drink beer.
Ideal Concert?  Any Clapton Crossroads Festival (great choice)

Favourite sport?  Judging by how much I swear on the court, it’s sure not squash. Besides, I know I’ll be playing golf when (and it’s a big if) I reach 80 but squash... ahh,not so much.

Favourite golf hole?  Well, I was with Lemieux when he had his ace at the Bev’s #7 but it’s a distant thirtieth to the 5th at Royal Ka’anapali in Maui.

Where did you grow up?  Lived all over Canada (except Maritimes but nobody would admit that anyways). Family is Montreal bred but went to Nelson here in Burlington with Morty (and we ruled in football even back then). (editor's note - you were doing okay up until then Gordo but my second son was born in Halifax - we loved that part of the country almost as much as we love our son.)

Other than your wife, if you could have dinner with any female celebrity, who would you chose and why?
Dinner with Charlize Theron is pointless because she’d ONLY want one thing and Ted Charuk’s subsequent legal fees would bankrupt me. So, I’ll say Ellen DeGeneres because she’s a...comedienne...yeah, that’s it...and I’ve got some great BFRC stories she can use for material.
